The Premium Cable
Audeze has run out of the blue Lee Weiland-designed cables that were supplied with LCD-4s. We’ve worked directly with another wire manufacturer and created the braided Premium Cable that begins shipping with LCD-4s on June 1st. It will subsequently be available for purchase at $699.
The Premium Cable features cryogenically-treated four-conductor stranded wire, each wire consisting of a large number of extremely fine strands of silver-plated single-crystal OCC copper with a combined cross section equivalent to AWG 20 that ensures low resistance and negligible signal loss.
The default configuration is single-ended and balanced cable will be supplied upon request with 2 weeks lead time. Eight feet is standard but custom lengths are available for an extra $70 per foot.
